	"Jalanidhi created a new history. More than 50% of our beneficiaries are from BPL segment. It made our panchayat to achieve 100% sanitation. A new layer of leaders from lower sector of the society has hailed. We were able to implement the project in the true sense and effectiveness. It is undoubted that the project should be continued."

	In each society, water harvesting and sanitation is the portfolio of women. In order to increase the women participation in Jalanidhi project, more women empowerment initiations shall be incorporated. Their financial security shall be envisaged through formation of self-help groups, small savings schemes, micro enterprises and micro crediting trainings etc. Expecting more social beneficiary schemes from Jalanidhi project.

	This project assures water sustainability for the future generations also, hence the public acceptance is very high. The follow on project shall give stress on sanitation, rainwater harvesting, and ground water recharge and women empowerment. Our panchayat again welcomes Jalanidhi.

	Six hundred families are beneficiaries in our grama panchayat. Even there is an allegation that government is withdrawing from the water supply sector, we evaluate that such participatory development projects can support regional developments and will be much useful to public.

	The panchayat tried for several water supply projects. But at last we found Jalanidhi is the only solution. If such a project is implemented in all panchayats of Kerala, the state will become self-sustainable in drinking water sector. The project should have a continuation.

	Jalanidhi provided complete solution for water and sanitation issues of the panchayat. The beneficiary groups need further support in operation and maintenance. The project can produce miracles, and it shall be continued.

	Jalanidhi erased all doubts of the general public and developed as a great project. It is really a great blessing for our panchayat. I can assure from my experience that Jalanidhi will be a permanent solution for the water scarcity issue of the state. Government may take necessary steps to continue Jalanidhi, to make the completed schemes sustainable and to avail the benefits to more panchayats.
