Thiruvananthapuram: The team from CARMELGIRLS’ HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOLVAZHUTHACAUD, THIRUVANANTHAPURAM presented a study on the effects of rainfall and soil conditions of an area on the groundwater table and the potability of water of selected wells in Thiruvananthapuram district.

The program was conducted as preparation for their participation in NATIONAL CHILDREN’S SCIENCE CONGRESS - 2009-2010.

The team members Aiswarya.M.S,Aiswarya Sudhakar, Anju.B.Sunil , Merin.R and Sheenu Joseph, presented their findings and Dr. A Jayathilak, IAS, Executive Director, KRWSA appreciated their effort and their compassion to mother earth and wished them to continue this adherence to nature.He also presented a water quality testing kit for the team and Director Finance, KRWSA , Director-CCDU, and staff were present.
