District Project
Management Unit, Palakkad is set up as the District office for the
KRWSA project for Palakkad District. In the Batch Erimayur GP in
Palakkad has been selected for implementation of the pilot project.
- Capacity
building of the SO through appropriate training and guidelines.
- Capacity
building of the BGs through training organized in support with
the respective SO.
- Orientation
to the GP, members and staffs.
- Confidence
building of the BGs through field visit and attending BG meetings
by DPMU officials, as this is a new concept to the people and
takes 12 months for the start of the implementation.
- Monitoring
of the, project activities of SO and BGs.
- Liason with
the other agencies for effective convergence of various Govt:
programmers for the benefit of the BGs.
